Welcome to Tampa Bay K9 Rehabilitation Center
Dr. Mark C. Brown and our team are committed to helping your dog achieve improved mobility, reduced pain, and increased activity by practicing the latest techniques in canine rehabilitation and physical therapy. Saint Petersburg based Tampa Bay K9 Rehabilitation Center, housed within Central Animal Hospital, was established in March 2004. We were the first full-service canine rehabilitation center in the Saint Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. Tampa Bay K9 Rehabilitation Center offers the west central Florida animal community individualized treatment plans to help injured, post-surgical, and arthritic dogs recover to less painful, more active lifestyles.
Our rehabilitation and physical therapy services include an underwater treadmill, swim tank, stairs, ramp and Cavaletti rails, dry land exercises, thera-ball therapy, hot moist heat therapy, low level (cold) laser therapy, therapeutic massage therapy, and chiropractic therapy. We are also offering cutting edge stem cell regenerative therapy in conjuction with our rehabilitation services. Dr. Brown is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) who secured his additional training and certification through the Canine Rehabilitation Program at the University of Tennesee's College of Veterinary Medicine. He is one of only a handful of veterinarian CCRPs in the state of Florida. We are open for appointments during normal business hours.
